I guess you don't have rattle because its made by BMW and you probably have secondary cats.

I dont know if he has catless DP's or not, but those will normally cause the frequency needed for this rattle.

I have the stock DPs on my car, so they're catted, but catless midpipes from the Gintani exhaust.

Felt tape or soft Velcro where the lid slides into place (both on the base and the lid) will make it quiet and you can still use it......I did start off with tennis balls though
I'll try and find some pics when I removed mine to do this.

Eisenmann Sport gives you the buzz too!
LOLs... and I thought I alone had this problem!
I'm gonna try the velcro tape fix, because I like the cool looks of the lid closed.

Just two of us 135 owners are reporting this resonance problem so far. Since no one has full dual pipes on a 135 I take that to mean to some degree the better the exhaust to flow the more likely the resonance is. My resonance at idle is worse than the 1500-2100 rpm one, but maybe that's because I just shift out of the second one. I have 1k miles or so on my catless dps now and the resonance problem seems to be improving, or maybe I'm just getting accustomed to it. Btw, we don't have the same console so no console rattle there, usually it's the buckles on my briefcase.

With the MagnaFlow exhaust I have now, the 335 developed a rattle in the rear center console at a resonant frequency occurring somewhere around 2000 RPMs. Initially I used the tennis ball and/or rag trick stuffed into the compartment to dampen the noise but decided to remove the storage compartment and see if something else would work better and still allow it to function as a.....well, storage area.
By pulling up on the bin, the 6 clips for the storage bin will pop out of the console, and then you can pull up, forward, and out from the back seat. Once out, the bin can be disassembled by removing 4 T20 Torx head screws and sliding the lower section out of the two locating holes in front. Now that you have access to the inside of the lower and upper pieces, you can apply felt tape (or maybe the soft side of some Velcro strips if its not too thick) to the leading edge of the sliding cover and the top and bottom lip that the cover slides into. It is a good idea to reassemble the bin and test the function so adjustments can be made for variances in materials used before reinstalling the bin in the car . This has eliminated 99% of the noise for me although if I turn the stereo down and roll the windows up, I can almost hear a little buzz sometimes- but this is good enough for me, YMMV:

someone told me a while ago to just stuff a nerf football in the undercarriage of the car where the exhaust is closest to the console area, said it worked like a charm.

I felt-taped both lid-track channels shortly after I got my car. It worked great for a while but now the tape's all bound up and the lid is jammed. It didn't even occur to me to tape just that leading edge; I'll definitely try that next!
