Oracal 970ra FTW~
I wouldn't use any other wrap, applies on dry, air release channels, freaking easy to put on compared to the others and won't jack up your paint.

Did over 5 of my buddies car with this wrap and no complaints yet. My car is matte black now but going ice blue soon.

Trust this is not the cheapest vinyl out there, but then again you have to pay to play. This will last for a long time, no scratches, easy to clean.

Maybe I'll just do a DIY lol

OP,

I saw this thread a long time ago and tried this on my G35 sedan. I got so god damn frustrated! I've done my fair share of vinyl too, I think I just got crappy product. Would LOVE to know where I could get some of the same material you had! I would love to wrap my E90 in Matte White. I apologize if it's been mentioned but frankly there are 28 pages and I'm busy at work help me out, bud!

Can't figure out how to PM you, just joined the site, in fact I joined exclusively to contact you!

I've been looking around the market for vinyl wraps and they're all $500.00 USD+

I have a Audi A4 Sedan and they recommended me to buy 50ft x 5 ft of 3M Matte black vinyl wrap. As I said, this is upwards of five hundred dollars.

Can you send me a link or email in which I can get a hold of your contact for vinyl please?

I'd greatly appreciate it! And of course.. AMAZING job on your car. It was the inspiration for my project!

Ok, once again evvvvveeerrrryyyyooonnneee...

I used oracal 651 vinyl which can be easily bought online (google) now for less than $200 for a 48" X 50 yard roll. Remember this isn't the easiest vinyl to work with... Actually it's really tough to work with, but with time and patience it will work out.

I hope this answers your vinyl questions on where to get the vinyl...

Are you sure the 651 Vinyl will work...? Every website/forum I go on to research this type of vinyl there are people saying don't use that.. I want to order this but I'm a little skeptical. Please get back to me!

Also on the website in which it's sold on http://www.uscutter.com/ORACAL-651-I...oll-ORS6514850

^ That picture of the product looks...... less than what I expect vinyl to look like. It looks like saran wrap..
