Any chance Cobb is going to release the firmware update at all today or this weekend?

I'm sure Rob will let us know once the firmware is ready. The latest beta on their server right now is 1.6.3.2-1798 but I don't think that's the one with the fix.

Has anyone called Cobb to see if the latest firmware available is the fixed one?

I'm sure that if Rob finally was able to diagnose the issue yesterday, he is hard at work on finalizing the update. I was surprised that he was even able to travel so close to Easter. It's coming guys!

Just for kicks, I updated to 1.6.3.2-1798, and it worked. It went through the full install on the first try.
You guys should definitely try it out, or wait until Cobb chimes in with an official post.

question now, if the map is already installed in the car, is that possible to do an update on the AP at this phrase?

You have to unmarry the Cobb from your car to do an firmware update.

HOLY F*CKING SH*T!

The power is insane!

I just installed the AP successfully with stage 1 thanks to the firmware update.

I'm going to need lots and lots of rear tires!!! I was spinning tires in 3rd gear. Legitimately had to let them warm up before I could push it. 2nd gear it really wants to break free. I cannot believe how fast I was accelerating. 60-110mph in what seemed like a couple seconds. Tires, Brake Pads, and lots of gas money!!

I did notice power can come on at what is almost 100% when the pedal gets halfway, throttle response is instantaneous. And a couple times the boost did hold for a fraction of a second after i took my foot off.

The car is a total animal now. I'm going to need to do more suspension work to harness the power. I really think I could give an M3 a run for its money now!

Were you one of the people that didn't have any problems installing but uninstalling it from your car?

Have you tried unmarrying it from your car? I just want to make sure if it installs I can uninstall it on this firmware update.

Yea I don't know how that's going to work out from Cobb with the people who are getting errors changing maps or trying to uninstall. Maybe they will be unable to unlock the device for free since you were one of the people having issues.
