I know there have been similar and probably even faster, but on the forum I think for now my stock 330i AUTO that ran a 14.4x at 97.x mph with a 60 ft of ~2.3 holds the best n52 time, not sure about that 128i, I thought it run a 14.5 but I could mistake it for the one I run against at the drag had a14.5.
Really curious with the tune and better launch if I could drop it closer to a flat 14... edit : officially I mean, some guys here have enough mods to do much better Last edited by bimmerquick43321; 07-04-2016 at 06:59 PM.. |

depends alot on the 60ft it's hard to get something good in an auto, .1 .2 on the 60ft can have a bigger impact on the 1/4, my almost 2.3 ( I think it was upper 2.2x, I've posted the slips here somewhere) it's quite decent I find, but felt I could do better...
the engine feels strong and even more so after the hassmachine tune, transmission not so much, this cr fbo with a manual but keeping the auto diff would be a blast to drive, well it's already that's why I can't bring myself to sell it even if it's getting old EDIT: Crap just saw his post, it was 14.2 @98mph, ouch... yeah so I'll try to go back to the track lol Last edited by bimmerquick43321; 07-06-2016 at 07:52 PM.. |

But then again you've got a couple of stock manual 328's here on the forum that can't get into 14's which is kind of weird to me as well .... (even if 60ft isn't phenomenal) only advantage the auto has is the differential 3.46 vs 3.15 for the manual, but the transmission power loss and shift times of the auto makes the differential difference trivial |

My car, with the staggered set up (225 front 255 rear) was 32 front 38 rear. I just got to the track with the stock pressure and did a couple laps to warm them up, then adjusted back down to stock settings with the tires hot. You'll find that you have to drop somewhere around 6-8 psi depending on how hard you run your car. In my case, I was on a track with a lot more rights than left, so my front left ended up being about 2psi below my front right.

BTW if you look at trap speed vs hp, you probably need ~300bhp to hit 99-100mph. I think it can do it as well.
