IPOD Integration Kit and Aux Input
Is it possible to have both IPod Integration Kit and Aux Input installed and working, so we can choose which one to use at one time. The reason is because of the 500 songs per folder limit that comes with ipod integration kit.
Thanks

The iPod integration kit uses both USB and AUX connectors. When an iPod is hooked up that way, the head unit's display changes options: instead of AUX and USB there appears only one - IPOD.
You can hook up an iPod with its own USB cable instead of the Y-cable that comes with the car - then the head unit will see it as a USB flash drive, with some iPod-specific features unavailable (such as playlists and DRM-protected files playback). But that would free up the AUX input. |
