BMW E93 tyre sizes-255/30 to 265/35 19
Hi,
As anyone fitted 265/35/19 in place of 255/30/19? I'm looking to keep away from the elastic band and potential cracking issues but worried about the tyres possibly rubbing with the increase in overall diameter. All help appreciated! Last edited by mchoody; 02-13-2018 at 05:13 AM.. |

I ran 255/35/19 for a good while with no issues for the same reason... pot holes and a bit more comfort. I have heard people running 265/35/19 with no issues and some others seem to be slightly rubbing. But the rubbing was a fully loaded car. ie 4 or 5 people in the car and rubbing on big dips. Me personally was going to do 265/35/19 as I mainly drive the car on my own or with just 1 other passenger, but I ended up downsizing to 18s. It's trial and error really. If u don't carry much passengers u will b fine.... but if u do, u might rub slightly. 255/35/19s are fine though 🙂
