What the voice command for "Home address"?

My wife car has dedicated button for "Home" address.
Now, she start driving my car and I need really easy explanation how to tell car - "Go Home"!
My Car is MY 2006 - no program buttons.
I just do this way:
  • Select navigation menu
  • In navigation select first option - navigation and scroll down to "Home"?

I guess what I asking - is there a short cut to call "home" address or voice menu?

Thanks.

I don't think there is one. However you can say, "Destination in Address Book" and it will bring up the address book. Select " Home " from there and you should be good to go.

Voice command "Navigate home" should automatically start to navigate you home if you have a later version of the progman sw. The version I have (dunno version number) it has a bug that instead navigates you to the last destination you got directions for.

Edit: My MY2007 idrive also does not have the buttons.

I couldn't find "Navigate Home" in the voice commands list. How many other undocumented voice commands are out there? (assuming this one is real, haven't tried yet)

I just set the home address to the 1 button (the ones you can set up to store a location or a radio station). Works great for me.

I think that "navigation home" is a misnomer that has been discussed before.

There are no voice commands for specific destinations, which is unfortunate since Nav creates sounds for random street names.

It is also able to read any name you say when using the phonebook, like "Call Mike"
I don't see how this would be any different. Maybe it's just a case of lazy BMW programmers...

This is true.
We disproved the "Navigation - Home" theory some time ago.
See http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66979

When you say "Navigation HOME", the system thinks you are saying "Navigation ON" (which results in the same response as if you had said "Start Guidance") and simply starts guidance to the last address entered into the system -- which, of course, may or may not be HOME.

Today I tried again and navigation start guide me to the last address that was used (happen to be not my home address).
BTW I was in Beverly Hills and let me tell you, amount of M3, M5 and M6 it's like every 10th car on street was BMW and every 15 was M

+1
I also have home number to dial on #2, FM presets on #3, SAT presets on 4 and etc
Otherwise, say "address book" scroll to your home
