N52 Dyno Tune?

Has anyone done a custom tune on the N52 motor? I was wondering how much power you guys got out of it and how much it cost you guys to do.

I just installed the Active Autoworker's tune and picked up about 15 horsepower. A tune is money well spent.

If you want a dyno tune, contact OE Tuning in your area.

Oh - I saw that a few days ago but didn't realize it was you. I thought you actually had it dyno'd before and after the tune. Your review is really good. I need to get this done, but not sure where in my area to go.

$762.32, but in addition to the additional horsepower, the throttle lag is gone and the low and mid-range power increase is very noticeable. The tune really transformed the way the car performs.

That might have been the price when it came with the Simon personal programmer, now it comes with the Powergate personal programmer.

Can you just buy the programmer and just update the stock ecu on your own? or do you have to buy the tune in order for it to work?
