Doesn't matter. Power, quality and sound-wise it will pretty much all be the same so you can either get the cheapest one or the one that you like the best. Enjoy your intake!

I have an Injen Intake with Amsoil filter. great sound but i cant clean the filter so i decided on getting a K&N filter (cone) to attach to the injen tubing and after about a day or so my check engine light came on. My car cant handle the K&N filter, i'm running to lean! i put the stock airbox back in and so far no check engine light. The k&n had a much deeper sound then the amsoil filter but too bad my car isnt able to handle the k&n. I have a 2007 328i. hope this helps. Cheers

really? first time i heard an issue like that are you sure you installed the clamps tight enough?, sounds like you have extra air leaking in some where

Try it again. Something was disconnected or there was a vacuum leak. The filter will not cause your car to run lean, the computer will compensate based on the intake sensor to the correct air/fuel mixture.

If the sensor was unplugged or loose --- it'll throw a CEL light.
If there is a vacuum leak AFTER the sensor --- it'll throw a CEL light.

I will try the k&n again in the summer. For now I'm running stock.

I just recently installed the Injen Intake in my car. It definitely adds some nice sound and a slight performance gain as well.

K&N Does not make a full intake only a drop in filter.

I personally have the Injen SP1121blk Short Ram and love it.

Drop in wont change sound, actual intake will.
