My buddy has a family friend that owns an Infinity dealership so his whole family drives them. He complained about my cars handling the moment he rode in it and he swares my car is "unreliable" and that I should have gotten a G37 like hes buying soon because I keep bringing it in to get worked on. I guess he doesnt realize that labor and parts are free with the CPO warranty so I look for things to take it in for just so its running perfectly all the time. Knowing him he will want to race me the moment he gets his G but by then I'll probably have my tune, DCI, and my exhaust and will blow his doors off.
But I do love G37's and was debating on getting one but always thought the 335i was more sexy. (I was right) I had a G35 try to go with me last night on my way home from my girlfriend's place but I didn't even give him the time of day due to the fact that we were on a congested highway. I'm not trying to weave in and out of traffic and potentially kill someone. The only other car I played with was another 335i, but we were both respecful and at the end gave a flick of the lights and a wave.

While I wouldn't use the word unreliable, I agree with your friend about our cars' handling out of the box. There is an inherent compromise in the bushings due to our runflats that make suspension geometry variable. The G does not have this problem in stock form.

Here's the key.
Most G's -- sedans are actually more expensive to lease -- are leased. The problem with infiniti's leasing program is this -- as long as you're approved and the dealer agrees on a price you want to pay for the vehicle then they will lease you a car. i.e. On t.v. you'll see they have the national ad for $459/mo 48/mo now you can go to the dealer and negotiate down to lets say $259/mo at 48/mo with zero down -- obviously you're not going to get an S model at this price but I hope you get the idea. Now you're paying the same amount for an accord as a G -- which would you take? |

Lot of Chrysler stuff trying to race. I had a guy in a 300 race me from light to light, losing every time. Challenger SRT blew me away the other day, it was in good fun though. Lots of riced Civics losing (I bet they think their cosmetically modded Si has more power than a non-modded BMW. But subs are heavy bruh.) Also older six cylinder mustangs. Nobody with a newer six or GT have bothered me.

I've seen this twice in this thread. You drive a BMW. I'll leave it at that.

Down here in Houston, most problems I have is with stupid pickup truck drivers. They love to jack up their trucks and drive them like sports cars. I still don't get why they hang fake "nutsacks" from their tow hitch

The part of Florida I'm at there's a grip load of subis which are very annoying, they kept trying to race me with my Evo 8. So I fugred my 335i shouldn't attract them, WRONG!!! it attracted them more so and these little weak civics as well. Not sure why

Best fun I had was with a sports bike... both of us hitting 130 on 79 thru some crazy curves in Pittsburgh. Later he slows down and waves before taking exit. It was fun.

Bolt on 350z's and G35's are fun to mess with, especially in the M3. I love when they weave around traffic to try and get around you. I usually downshift to 5k rpms and wait till they get door to door with me while they're at full throttle thinking they'll fly past me. I then proceed to leave em in the dust all the way up to 8200 rpms.
