Sirius satellite module gen help

I bought a gen 1 satellite module and installed it into my 2006 325I. It works great but I only get channels up to 184. I noticed there is a gen 2 and gen 2.5 module. What is the difference? Will these give me all of the Sirius channels?

Nobody knows what the difference is between the satellite modules? Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 2.5?
