Didn't you know about the new coupes before ordering your 30xi?

Since you're going to spend more $$$ on an e92, it shouldn't be a problem for the dealership to transfer your deposit to the new car. I assume that you'll order it from the same CA. Otherwise, all bids are off.

I don't see why they wouldn't let you switch your order. I mean, I'm sure they'll be able to sell a loaded 330xi. Plus since the e92 cost more, in theory they stand to make more money on that car.

yeah but if the dealer is selling out of the 335i's and doesn't have inventory, they may not like one switching their order... Especially if they have excess 330's on the lot. I don't think the dealer will look at the final price as much as what inventory that isn't moving as fast. Having said that, I would think most dealers would respect your decision to change your mind... You are not under contract to buy the car yet...

Since it's an ED car,the order can be cancelled and if the car is already built, will go into their inventory and then you can just reorder what you want exactly. It's really not that big a deal, they're going to make the same profit and maintain a good relationship with you.

Just bear in mind that if you're also set on getting an "xi" when you change this order that waiting for a 335xi will be longer (next April), but a regular 335i will be available by this October.

Check my sig., includes Navi. Expected delivery in October according to my CA. But that all depends on when you get your order in and your dealer's allocation... one dealership told me Dec., but most others I checked told me Oct.

Still plan to do ED on this? Hope you can change it and get what you want!

im really not sure what i want at the moment.
think im just going to keep the ED and wait until
the 335xi come out next yr . hopefully the 335i price
drops a little and my 330xi price wont drop that much.
im going to keep my 330xi mileage as low as i can so if
i do a trade in the future, hope i wont lose much. sounds
like a good idea to some of you?

and the only reason i ordered my ED was becuase i couldnt
wait anymore i wanted my car asap. i was going to settle
for e46 m3 white on red navi, but the e90 brand new won.

You're deposit should be fully refundable. Mine was.

Plus I only had to put down $500 on a brand new ordered 330i. This was December 2005.

$2,500 seems very high. Hope this helps.
