CIC Update from 2010 Professional

I have downloaded the 2015 North America Professional files via uTorrent and have 6 raw files..see pic.

1) are these the only file I need?
2) I have the little check mark on my Nav screen so I am able to upload via USB

BUT the Nav unit (or USB) is not responding to me plugging in the USB drive.
Am I missing a file or is it likely the USB connector is faulty?

I have read that sometime the connection to the female USB connector is sometime the issue. Do I have to unscrew the whole glove box to check?

many thanks for any advice

If you are trying to update a 2011 model vehicle, you have the wrong maps.

North America Professional is for 2005-2008 model E90's equipped with the CCC system. North America Premium is for the 2009-2013 3-series equipped with the CIC system.

If you next the version currently installed on your 2011, it'll say North America Premium not Professional.

thank you - I was going by the build spec sheet from my VIN number which said I have the Navigation System Professional S609A - which I now guess is referring to the hardware that is installed.

Yeah, SA609 just indicates their "Professional Level" navigation system. That same SA option can mean the MK4 for the E46 (High Maps), CCC for the 2005-2008 E90 (Professional Maps), CIC for the 2009-2013 3-series (Premium Maps), NBT for the 2014+ (Next Maps).
