Mod Bargains??
ordered my jet black reflectors for my e92 12 days ago..called them 7 days after my order was placed they said my "reflectors were being painted" and they would be shipped with in 48 hours at the latest...5 days later called them again my reflectors still had not been shipped. i told them i would like to cancel my order...
go figure 12 days later after 2 phone calls and after asking to cancel my order my simple part finally got shipped.. i honestly don't understand how a company can stay in business with such poor customer service.. anyone else experience anything like this from mod bargains? |

Definitely give them another try. Alan got me my strut bar from Socal to NorCal in like 4 days. He also kept me updated with my order and made sure everything went smoothly.

To the rest of you guys, thanks for the kind words and of course for your continued support. To the OP, I'm sorry to hear about your experience as this is definitely not something that is typical. I am assuming that you placed your order online yourself and you didn't speak to a representative such as myself when you placed your order. With that being said, if this was a phone, email, or even forum inquiry, I would have notified you that although we do stock a ton of items in our warehouse that it's impossible to keep everything in-stock at all times. Your order on the painted reflectors must have been a popular color that we didn't have physically at that point of time due to popular demand. We do use OEM reflectors and OEM paint to make sure that our customers do receive quality pieces. The painted reflectors are custom painted you do have to understand that it does take time to complete. Think of it this way, would you want a paint shop to rush a job on your bumper if your car was in the shop? I'm sure that the order status department did everything they could to get you an answer to the best of their ability. Either way, in the end, you did get your painted reflectors shipped out to you and I know that you're going to enjoy getting rid of the nasty amber reflectors on the front bumper with them.
As you can see from feedback from other forum members, I do definitely try to take care of all of my customers. All in all, don't let this experience leave a sour taste in your mouth. Next time, feel free to contact me directly and I'd be more than happy to assist as I do value your business and appreciate you giving us the opportunity to earn it! i checked the tracking number and it said ill be getting them early in the morning on monday august 15th hopefully 2011 but i dont know they could be messing with me..

You kinda' scared me because I just ordered my BSM reflectors, and I came home from work at around 5:30PM and they weren't here. Lo and behold though, UPS brought them today as promised. Don't let this one time occurrence detour you from doing business with Alan again, he's a good guy.

Part of the reason for the delay on this order was that we ran all of our painted reflectors through quality control inspection here. We opened up each box from our supplier and rejected a significant quantity of the black reflectors because they had blemishes on them that we didn't think our customers would accept. We sent them back, and this caused a bit of inventory shortage and a few delays on shipments.
At least we quality control our items before sending it to you. No excuses for the lack of communication from us to you though - that is not acceptable and I will rectify it internally here. i had reflector issues with this company also. they sent 2 right side bsm reflectors. After some days (14) later it got resolved by alan. I think the shipping department has some duds.

i installed these for him he gave up on **********s...we got them and the imprint from the microfiber towels they came wrapped in is stuck in the paint...guess they didnt let them dry long enough.
