Haha, good analogy. What do you do there? IB, finc. analyst?

Anyway..so every time I hear someone say I should live in Hoboken...I start weighing all the options again. I need someone to tell me flat out whether or not I can make the drive out to exit 33 on 78 in around an hour on a regular basis. I heard people say no way and I've heard well yeah you can bc you'd be going the opposite way of commuter traffic coming into the city. I'm tired of suburbs...

I live about 3-4 miles from hohoken... You should definitely consider hoboken since alot of college kids and young people like us lives there. Driving wont be THAT bad man .. nothing is worst than going into Holland tunnel in the morning.... so Hobo FTW

Not a chance...too much traffic going either way...when I have to go to the warren office for meetings in the morning it can get just as bad as 78 coming from PA

and as far as commute goes, the troopers switching over to unmarked chargers and pulling EVERYONE in sight over along the way isnt gonna help your commute either...

Not cool... I live in a police state here as well. My neighborhood and the roads I travel are overlapped by 3 jurisdictions. And unlike downtown Bham who has better things to worry about (murder, rape, real crime), around here it's all about catching speeders, illegal lane changers, and after a certain hour anyone who's car looks like it might belong to a younger person. Oh yeah and I'm over Hoboken. Probably going to be "Mo-town".

if you want to live in hoboken get rid of your car because you wont need it and parking is ridiculous. you will probably post that it was hit, etc. if you end up keeping the car and moving to hoboken. Morristown is really nice and is a good party town as well on the weekends.

Hoboken? get rid of your car then, unless you find a place with a garage (which would probably be next to impossible, rent or buy)

even if you DO find a parking space, I'll assure you that you will have some sort of scratched / cracked front AND back bumpers within 3 months.

Now, if you find a nice garage down the street and do monthly parking, leave the cost alone, its just PIA if you want to head out/commute/etc.

Its nice place and all, and I like it over there but it is just not worth it if you are a car enthusiasts who like to keep cars clean/tidy. I know I am... which is damn why I live in a sub-urb that is as close to city as possible.. lol
