Another set of Lux rings installed
My first try to install them was a failure.
But that was my mistake for not following directions. This time, that angel eye cover was tight but it closed properly. This is a comparo. Lux installed on driver side OEM on passenger side Driver side lux: Passenger side OEM: Driver side lux again: Passenger side OEM again: Final product under daylight:

I tried the install a while ago and could not fit the angel eye cover. it would not snap into place. But that was my mistake. I did not screw the kit properly. This time, I did it correctly and it all went fine. the angel eye covers closed with a little push.

Yea, I was reading through the Dc install thread and saw you had some problems, Glad to know it wasn't with the Kit itself, I just bought KL2DC's set and I am glad to hear you had no problems! Looks great!

Thank you!! I can't take good pics, but the Blacklines do look great on the car. I think Blacklines look good on all colors though.
Good luck on the install!! Danny Quote:

As oneshare325 has mentioned, I am passing my LUX kits to another fellow enthusiast and LUX fan. I know they will be well used and taken care of...
To reiterate, I unistalled my LUX as they were highlighting a pre-LUX condition/damage on my car. They remain a well-engineered and stoutly-built solution.

Group install?!?!?! It takes all of 3 minutes to change the bulb . I would like to get those bulbs, but I am wary of them. I tried the silvervision bulbs from bimmian.com. The bulbs were significantly more orange than amber. I like the lighter amber look as opposed to orange... |

Yeah but AJ, these are OEM bulbs...they should work better than the aftermarket stuff (by better I mean the colors should be better matched).
Hey we desperately need an excuse to get together...I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel here...work with me
