Does anyone in the Phoenix area have a timing tool for the N52 engine that I could borrow?

I don't know that it was a failed wastegate or not, which according to everything I've read on the warranty says that's whats covered. I am going to call BMW AG tomorrow and start seeing what the process is. Anyone else have this issue or recommend anyone to talk to dealer or indy?

This is probably a late response (new to the forum) but I had the same problem with my 08' 335i. Camelback BMW covered it under the CPO

Back on this thread after a long break. I'm in tucson AZ. Coming from Phoenix I noticed that shops here are mediocre at best compared to the shops back down in phx area. If I'm missing out on some good work here in Tucson feel free to let me know!

Canadian in the desert... Can anyone reco a good shop in the phx area to install a Smarttop module in my e93? Not supposed to be that difficult, but I figured if there's a good shop nearby I'd rather have a pro do it. Thx!

New to the area down here in AZ (specifically Goodyear), and wanted to do some mods for my e90 335i. Any good shops down here that have BMW aftermarket parts?

hey man! I'm actually from wine country too, grew up in Sonoma (all my family is still there).

There are actually a few shops around that work on these, I'd check out Goodspeed for one.

I just bought some coilovers off of a member here actually, so if you want some low mileage sport suspension ill sell locally for cheap.

hmmmmm that sounds pretty intriguing. Would it work? Being mine is 08 pre lci 335i and your being 09 lci 335i. I would also have to find a shop to get it installed and all dialed in. price wise, i wonder how much it would be compared to buying new ones ya know. And I won't be down there till Feb 15.

Thanks bra. That a pretty sweet aw e90 you got there. Im jealous of that stance. My non sport suspension with 19in isn't looking nearly as aggressive as that. Im in touch with Goodspeed, seeing if we can make something happen.

E92 335i here just moved back to te Phoenix area from OC, CA after three years. Loved it there and loved the e9x scene, had tons of great shops like LTMW and not a day went by where you didn't see a modded e9x. I'm happy to be home, there is an equal amount of things to dislike about that area (cost of living, traffic, demographics). I'm hoping there is atleast a decent e9x scene in town. Anybody know of any reputable bimmer shops in town? FMIC coming up soon.

Goodspeed is generally well liked. Some people like vivid too, but they get bashed on a lot of other forums so I can't say whether I recommend them or not.

On another note, I've got a bunch of crap in my garage to install. Coilovers, lip, spoiler, and soon (hopefully) wheels if I can find a set locally or a set in the classifieds I like. Does anybody here want to make some money or some pizza/beer by helping me out? If not, I'd be down to see if we could get a group discount if we schedule work together (sounds like a couple people need suspension and one dude needs an fmic)
