335 Custom Exhaust Clips
Well, instead of paying 1300+ for exhausts, I thought I would try a less expensive way to get the sound I wanted, and I acheived it with no drone.
The crushed piping was changed. The rear mufflers are Magnaflow Part #14336. The tips are Magnaflow, Part #35125 The stock resonator is still there. The secondary cats are deleted. Here is the thread with pics of the install. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68364 I did the best I could to get a descent sounding exhaust with absolutely no drone, and I've succeeded. I personaly think that the resonator is key to keeping it drone free. Let me know what you guys think. Take off http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfKC9q6O7oE Drive by http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RJ3ScAWVI8 In the Car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AGzLM-ZlB4 Casual Driving **EDIT** I just Replaced the stock resonator with an X pipe and the sound just got so much better! Since the videos above, I have also added the UR High Flow Cat Downpipes. So this is what I have in the clip below: The crushed piping was changed. The rear mufflers are Magnaflow Part #14336. The tips are Magnaflow, Part #35125 The stock resonator was replaced with Magnaflow X pipe Part #10791. The secondary cats are deleted. Sounds good.
Sounds a bit like stock tho. Might be the camera.

Slightly louder than stock, and that's why it doesn't drone.
I'm pretty happy.

I uploaded that one after I originaly posted this thread but yah, that one was taken to show the inside cabin noise. Of course, the sound is louder in person but you can tell that there is a smooth sound with no drone. I'll update the original post with this clip. Thanks!

Thread jack...Mr. 5..your car and mine are very similar..other than yours is silver...I have the bavdom splitters on now...and my Morr Alloy VS7 wheels are relatively close to yours...and I am about to get the OEM spoiler installed. I am lowered and do have the Ultimate Racing exhaust though..so my tips are a bit more pronounced..but if you remember..I am thinking of swapping them out for something more subtle. Thanks for posting pics in your garage..that helps me visualize my car better.

Looks and sounds good. I'd venture to guess your exhaust is .25 as loud as mine inside the cabin. Safe to say the stock rear resonator certainly helps quite a bit.

It really does, but I really thought the rear resonator was a resonated X pipe, but when I had the exhaust made I found out that the 2 pipes never cross and they are separate in the resonator. So now I have 2 completely seperate pipes.
