haha, I bought my 1995 Eclipse RS right before that movie. I bought my car off ebay from Bradenton FL when I lived in Oregon! 5spd, black,eibach springs and tokico hp blues, AFX UDP, Short ram, 60mm TB, lol...

And yes, the 3000gt vr4 was a car I wanted also... But it was the Eclipse that had my heart!

My dad actually bought me a used 1992 3000GT VR4 when I was in high school, but never let me drive it because it had found to have a valve leak. I didn't care and just wanted to show it off.

The reason why I have a car I now have is having seen 323i on the street in 1985 or 1986. It still looks great when they show it on a current 3-series commercial. By far the favorite one.

I also remember seeing Countach live only once (1983 maybe - memory isn't as good as it used to be) and not believing the thing had 300+ rear tire size. That was when most of the cars in Europe had 135-155. But that one never really bothered me because, as it was then, it is purely unobtainable.

Last one is Testarossa, again mid-late 80's in its natural environment, on Autostrada in northern Italy blasting past us in the left lane. Really impressive still today even with cheese-grater side panels.

Definitely the Countach, but that was more of a dream car. The first car that I REALLY wanted badly was the 1990-1996 300ZXTT. I had a modded 91 for about 4 yrs and it's still my favorite car of all time. I bought my 335is because it felt very similar to how my Z drove.

Every couple of years or so, I think about buying a used NSX. It's still an amazing car even 20 yrs after it was originally released.
