Can't Make up Mind
I'm really having a hard time deciding which color to get. I now have a Titanium Silver/Black 325i. For my 2006 I thought I would try Black/Terra. But I'm worried that the darker color doesnt show all the great lines of the car as well as a Silver one would. Also that I might become sick of the terra int., though it is great combo. Plus Silver is SO much easier to maintain, not showing dirt or rock chips as much. But it is the same combo I'm in now....
So heres my dilema: Black/Terra/Burl. or Silver/Black/Poplar. Any suggestions?? |

I have a SG with black leather/al trim. Very happy with this combo. Orginally I ordered a SG-330i with terra, but after having misgivings about not having ordered the sport package, I went for an in-stock SG with sport. The car that I orginally ordered, SG/terra/walnut/non-sport, arrived in mid-July and it is still unsold. I'm told by the dealer that there is little interest in the terra interior. Not long after this car arrived at the dealer, the dealer exchanged the walnut trim for aluminum to satisfy a purchaser of a different E90. The combo of terra and aluminum is dreadful IMO. Four months later, the car remains on the dealer's lot.
So, I mention this to you, because if you opt for terra, this interior could be a major negative when you decide to trade it in. I also think that the lines of the car are best expressed with either TiAg, SG or Arctic. Black, besides being impossible to keep clean, does not enhance the lines of the car. |

B4 I had even seen the car in person, I swore I would get the SG. But then having seen it in person, it doesn't look anything like the color in the original flyers.
Then I thought about black, so as to not get the same car I have. hmmm |

Black is great for about the first 6 months to a year and then you will get very tired of cleaning the car every day to keep it looking good. Take it from me, I have both and the silver is the way to go, unless you like white that is.

I had 3 silver BMWs in a row, it was time for a switch. I still like the color and how easy it is to maintain, but I knew I'd tier of it quickly if I got another one.
Just food for thought. |
