CX Racing FMIC in GTA

Anyone here in GTA try out the CXRacing FMIC that you can get off amazon or ebay? costs only a couple hundred bucks and seems very similar to the Big Tom or even the STETT FMIC.

Yeah I was actually the one to intially source CXRacing for their intercooler since I didn't want to pay massive shipping fees. It worked out well for me. You'll need to do a lot of cutting of the intercooler shroud like Big Tom's with a tool like a dremel with plastic cutting wheel ( http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...KL._SY300_.jpg ). LMK if you have any more questions.

Weird timing on this post though, haven't been on E90post since my car crash.

ok thanks! i will be ordering it today and was just going to order the core intercooler not their entire kit. im expecting a bit of customization but my mechanic has done it before and so i trust him with that. just will source my own couplers and what not. its about 300$ cad shipped from ebay. will let you know if i have any questions. no way im paying massive prices for other intercoolers. so many ppl have seem to run the CX on other forums successfully.

works well and looks great! but just make sure you have a shop that can fabricate the piping and brackets to install it.

looking back at this. dont do it.. it works well but its a hassle to get it installed and it will be hard for me to go back to stock as a lot of cutting was needed. just get something designed for our cars.
