That's a tough one. I personally like the matte grilles on a black car, it creates a bit of contrast. Either way, I don't think there is too much of a difference looks-wise.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I do have a decent mod list going on, but I've had the car for over 2 years, so I've had some time to do it all. I might shift to the aesthetic part of modding for the rest of this year. We'll see.

Nice list X, how long have you had those wheels, and how are they holding up? I just bought my 08 Xi with them a couple months ago, and I'm wondering if they're just inexpensive wheels that get beaten up easily, or if the guy who owned the car before me reallly abused them.
I used the G2, I've used it on this car as well as others, and I really like it. In regard to the wheels, I bought them used, and they were a little bruised when I got them, but I just use touchup paint on them to keep they looking decent. They will never be perfect, and the paint on them should have been powedercoat, but at this point I don't care.

Looks great!!!

X how difficult was that to do?
Wrapping that just took some time, it isn't too difficult. Actually the most difficult part was the re-assembly and not pinching the corners of the fabric.

Stop touching it Nic, youre gonna marr it! (I kid)

You are welcome Nic and thank you again, it was my pleasure. I looked back to your first email and it was dated 6-14-10...

It took a year to get you booked and prepped!

Lets just say I am glad it's in "doses" between the other days details...

Do you need any mud or gravel?

Yea the spider, very stubborn and didn't want to move... and for some reason I can't bring myself to kill even bugs so I hope that is +karma.

Makes me wonder if that was from the winter storage or if that was "Deutsch spinne" that happened to make its american debut...

Nick the car looks amazing. Also props to you for keeping it in such good shape for over two years. I'm hoping I can keep mine like that.

I ordered a BMW Performance Exhaust ... hopefully I'll be able to get that installed within the next two weeks or so. OEM parts FTW!

Thanks guys I can't wait to get this thing installed. Closest appointment I could get at a local Indy shop was three weeks out, I emailed another shop and maybe they can do it before then.

The box is BEAST and takes up half my room, I want to put the stock parts in it and put it in storage ASAP.

I will def. take pics and a vid - my camera has a nice external mic and should pick up the sound perfectly.

So A while back I posted about my e90 with the new shoes.....Well I finally took my lunch break and cleaned it up. Since it seems to do nothing but rain lately I figured I would take some pics (with my phone) and I thought I would post them. Let me know what you guys think....I wasn't sure when I first put them on but they really grew on me. It's been just over a week (I think)...

Thanks

Looks good. I just sold my 189's locally to an e46 owner. I really liked the 5 spoke look on the e90.
