New wheels for the e92 335i

hi guys, just thought i'd share a few pics of my car after i had some nice shiny new Hyper Black CSLs fitted.I had these on order for a little while as i wanted to replace my style 230 twist alloys and they finally turned up today so i went straight out and got them fitted

Looks nice still! My personal preference would either be to stick witht he 230's as it compliments the body colour OR.. if you're going to keep your CSls, get that car lowered now, right now! lol. and then think maybe throwing in some black kidney grills, blacklines tints etc .. love the car though!

Thanks for the comments guys, just for the record the car already had gloss black kidney grilles The pics are deceiving as the road is on a steep camber but the car is very low as it is and i wouldnt want to compromise the ride quality by lowering it (been there done that with previous cars) as for the 230s they all need a refurb and tbh there wasnt a massive diffeence in price between refurbing all 4 230s or buying a new set of CSL reps.I am still deciding whether or not to get the 230s refurbed or just sell them on as is but all comments are appreciated (personally i hate the 230 alloys)

As long as you're happy with them, that's all that matters.

Wouldn't bother refurbing them to sell, you will never make your money back, just put them up for sale.

Looks great. But I too much prefer the 230's. They suit the E92 so much!

Looks really good mate! I prefer the CSL's, personally think they go better with the theme of your car and the M-Tec kit...

For me CSL's suit the E90 more than the E92. Too sleek is the E92 for the overly aggressive CSL's.

I prefer the 230's but I hate dark coloured alloys. I think the CSL's would look the best if they were silver.

Thanks again for the replies guys, nice to see a mixture of likes and dislikes .Frankly IMO silver on silver is far too much and looks plain and the 230s look no better than some of the offerings on 5 spokes in Halfords.I wanted to break the colour of the car up abit and seeing as it has the black kidney grills and carbon boot lip spoiler i think the Hyper Black CSLs really compliment the car and gives it more of an aggressive stance as well as making it more contrasting to look at.The pics don't do the wheels justice really as they are lighter than they look, but i do appreciate thecomments and afterall it would be a boring world if we all drove the same looking car

Last time I was in my local Halfords, all the wheels were low end budget wheels. That's what their website shows too.

You are seriously not trying to suggest that "Ripspeed" or "Dezent" alloys look anywhere near as good or indeed have the quality of a set of 230 rims?

There is usually a good reason why certain rims are more costly than cheap brands or replicas.
