$520 good price for powder coat/straighten the wheels?

Hey, guys, I have a set of recently purchased rims which are silver but I need them gloss black. A couple of those rims are slightly bent as well. The guy that comes buy our shop quoted me 520 for powder coat and straightening whatever is not straight. Is that a good/fair price or should I keep looking? What is a good price? Thank you.

Lol, I do not do wheel repairs or powder coating. But thank you for mentioning. I only dealt with PCing small stuff for my bike. Never with the wheels.

Agreed with this.

It's not great, but it's also not bad.

+1. I've paid about 600 just for refinishing, but I know its not a good deal. 520 for refinish & straighten is probably slightly below average cost for good work, but nothing about which I'd write home to mum.

I paid $300 to have mine powder coated, but they were new and didn't need any prep work.

It depends on how much the wheels are worth and how many are bent. If they cost $250 each and two are bent, buy two new ones. If they are $1,200 each, that's a hell of a deal.
