Will do, I will just throw a time and a date out. For the NOLA people and the BR people who think they can make it, how does thursday night at 7 sound? Meet in lakeside parking garage on the corner of causeway and veterans, then take a drive down vets to hooters?

Im sure the big tom intercooler will be better. Do you just plan on selling that one? And how hard was the ******** BOV install? Im kind of confused about installing the BOV because there is not a single synapse DIY. Maybe I will make one or something, if its not too hard. |

Installing the BOV is really easy you just have to be careful when putting on the vacuum lines. And getting the IC pipe to line up is a little bit of a bitch but you'll get it. I looked up the synapse install on their site, they have their own forum that shows how to hook it up.

Todd, here is a DIY. You cant see where the vacuum lines are really going that well, but it might help a little.
1.Take the vacuum line that goes to the factory bypass valves 2. T the above mentioned line out to two lines and attach them to the two ports in the back of the Synapse BOV 3. leave the other nipple on the Synapse BOV alone http://www.socaleuro.com/forum/showt...-valve-install Also, I just came across something funny. Im sure you know synapse says there is no filter required. But I am reading the synapse tuning manual and found this: IV. FILTERING THE INLET a. If you do not plan on recirculating the discharge of the BOV back after an air filter, or after the MAF, it is highly recommended that you filter the inlet of the BOV. b. One choice would be to purchase a small filter, such as a K&N, with a 1.25” inlet. c. Another alternative would be to sandwich thin foam between the Recirculation Fitting (1) and the BOV’s housing. Are you going to filter yours? I am probably going to just leave it alone. Last edited by Forcefed3; 12-29-2010 at 08:51 AM.. |
