Oh ok, so it'll be all red?

Then you will have pink and red, that's cute valentines colors.

My wrap addiction started five years ago. After being in the vinyl business for years a sample of carbon fiber landed on my desk from a local vendor. I immediately ordered some to wrap my wood trim in my first E46.

Shortly after that I decided to go matte black. Over a red pallet it was crucial to do the job right to not see any red at the seams.

After completing the wrap I posted it on E46fanatics and the Haters started hating. Whatever.
Shortly after it was time to move on from the 99 323i So I posted it on Craigslist and sold it the same day. I guess the Haters were wrong.
After searching for a couple days I found my next victim an 01 325ci.
A creature of habit I started with the interior covering up the wood trim I have grown to despise in these cars. I hadnt grown tired of the carbon fiber trim so again I wrapped over the wood.

I really liked this color when I first saw it but it just didn't look right on the car.
Still a fan of matte black I started the journey again.

Had to black out the trim too

After wrapping and a few mods it was just how I wanted it.

I was over the CF interior so I opted for a one off color. Metallic silver which I clear coated in matte.

Having bought the car for below book I decided to throw a feeler Craigslist ad to see if I could make a few bucks and move on to a new faster Bimmer.
Again despite the haters I sold the car much faster than I had anticipated.

I lucked out finding another car right away. This one I only purchased to flip. A 2003 330ci with only 75k miles on it. I got it so cheep that I posted it for sale as soon as I had the title. Winter was on the way and it barely got any interest.
So what do I do. Yup, matte black. By now I'm over the matte black but it seems as thought the used BMW market was not so I gave it a chance.
Knowing I was going to sell the car I documented every step of the way with pictures and video. It was important to show the shiny black paint before the wrap so people knew I was not hiding anything.

A wrap and a quick website later it was back for sale. The winter and the holidays still made a slow go of the sale but come January 1 clls started coming in and it sold the first week of January.

Time to move on to a new car and a new color. I just got an E90 last week and have already started on the transformation. Blacked out the grill and restired the steering wheel trim. Now it's time to wrap it in Matte Blue Metallic.
I did a test a couple weeks ago and this is the color I am going with. Disregard the tiny Chevy Spark that the vinyl is on.

^^ seems like you do good vinyl work but you really need to lower your car when going with a colour like matte black or an aggressive colour like that. Doesn't look right IMO needs note aggressive mods to pull the colours your doing off that's why you were probably hated on I assume. Good workmanship though

Talk about an 'EPIC' addition to the thread!

Top notch work as well!

I wish more installers would step up and post detailed pics like us!

Its hard to tell if these wraps are put together nice or not. I went to ///Mfest out in Vegas and I saw this GOLD E60 M5 and from a good distance looked raw and came closer I almost threw up. It was kinky and bendy all over the place. I saw most vinyl jobs and its not 100 percent.

Im pretty sure this was the car there. I remember it had some weird ish going on the side.

Some installers subscribe to the "good from a far" but "far from good" philosophy. I don't have the luxury of doing a crappy job. So what you see from 20 yards away looks just as good from up close.

Are you trying to make a statement against someone or do you have some sort of agenda?

To speak ill of others when you should be ONLY worrying about YOURSELF and the WORK you DO shows that your work probably is as bad as those you bad mouth. . .

ANYWAYS. . . "So yeah there are rims that look nice 20 yards away, but are cracked up close. My rims look good up close because I don't know any other way. Yup yup"

I was referring to the post about the gold wrap that looked less than stellar up close.
