The car warned him, probably OFTEN. The dealer warned him, at least twice. Many people here gave him advice. None of it was followed...

OP got what he deserved.

Oh, and as others have said... OP is an identify thief's dream! Loose with his personal information, more money than common sense.... OMFG. Who doesn't know in 2013 that you don't post your whole name, address, multiple phone numbers, license plate, make/model of car, and signature on the internet? Seriously! Much more can be found out about him just by googling.... crazy!!

Not a C63. 2012 C300 with AMG exhaust, carbon fiber front lip and rear diffuser.

Hmm...hoping you bought that from a little old lady who used it for church. CPO till 2020?

Seriously, this thread should be mandatory reading for anyone buying a 50k German Luxury sedan, holy sh*t...I should probably start putting away some coin now...

Why? It's a N/A Mercedes. They last forever. Plus, they are slow ass hell. Who the hell wants to race in one?

Wow, didn't realize how underpowered that engine is.

Guess my point was after dealing with that disaster, the last thing I would ever do is go buy a used German Luxury sedan with an AMG body kit on it. Who knows if the previous owner was the same person who drove his demo/used car into the ground - of course not expunging him of responsibility.

I don't think he's going to have any problems - he did his research this time and bought it from a place called "Lucky Motors".

Anyway, I think the next (future) owner of this Merc is the one who should be worrying.

Friends of mine in Europe wouldn't touch a BMW but they all drive MBs... MBs have a better rep there than here, for some reason..

The C300 is a good looking car.

Really looking forwards to an up-n-personal lookover of the new AMG CLA 45, though.

I never heard of a timing belt ( ...it's a chain actually = metal) "skipping", this is insane. If true then it might have to do with improper tension/ chain tensioner improperly adjusted. This is highly unlikely to go unnoticed. Same applies to belt drive. Both scenarios pinpoint in the same direction: bad and incompetent service/ vehicle not properly maintained.

Take what you can gather and contact BMW of NA for advice and a 3-rd party for a second opinion.

****Keep us informed.*****

PS. Real OEM shows a complete N54 at ~ 11k, not sure if this comes already assembled or not.
I'll buy your car from you if you are thinking it's too much to mess with. Just pm me
