I know the feeling, but then there's the satisfaction of having done it yourself. Each to his/her own I guess.

I'm just waiting for you to tell me how rubbing your hands all over Graham the pig makes you feel, Paul?!

Struggle to see how you'd get all you need for £150. I've spent nearer to £250-300 and don't even have a frickin polishin machine

Hi Carlos,

Yup, the 535d went a couple of weeks ago. Bit gutting really, as apart from my E39 M5, the 535 was probably the best BMW I've had. I've just picked up a 53 plate 330d Sport in Individual Carbon Black. It'll be getting the works this weekend because it's a bit swirly thanks to numerous car washes.

Might have to get it DMS'd because it feels a little tardy after the 535!

You did, but I assumed I'd completely mis-heard you.

I didn't think it was at all possible for it to be better than 'stroking an otter coming out of a warm bath...'

Now, back to the 'detailing'- have you used a Port Cable polisher on Graham yet?

Ooooh, let me think: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-sfxpol-kit.html

Ok, so you need a 240-110 stepdown but they're hardly expensive. The point is the above kit gets you a PC, pads and a bottle of Sonus polish. For a new car that's not been near a dealer cleaning session it's pretty much all you need. Just add your own finishing glaze.

As you can see here, squeeze, there are occasions when I think 'it' & Paul 'posts' it!

In Carlos's case, he just seems to say whatever comes out of his own ar*e!

(Only joking Carlos, honestly! )

Unbelievable, isn't it Paul, considering you managed a 12-hour session with Ethel & Mildred at the Hilton Hotel, Hilton, at UK3.

Even more remarkable was the fact that they bought you a Bacardi & Coke, for being such a 'luvvy' !

I didn't think you could hear us, we were the other end of the hotel...

My they had formidable energy that night. I barely had any steam left for the leisurely drive we had on the Sunday...
