Anyone else seen this? Looks like I may be getting a 335i soon!!

Amazing..

I got this thread and forwarded to my CA and he calls me the next day (friday) and tells me I just saved 5 grand by not taking my car a day earlier.

Now that is the kind of call you just gotta love!

I financed 100%.. got to at that rate..

Took delivery yesterday, detailed it and drove it today, and I am very happy..

So I have an ED vehicle awaiting transport but still have not signed the finance documents yet (very long story) and was approved for 3.9% already. I’m a first time BMW owner with good credit. Since I haven’t signed the finance documents yet, am I qualified for the 0.9% promotion?

You bet....you have not "bought" the vehicle technically, even though you most probably put down a deposit. Until you sign on the dotted line you have not agreed to the deal. I was told by my dealer that I would receive the best published rate through BMW finance through out the process (until signing of course).

Just got in on this for my 8/11 ED - saves a little more than $50 per month compared to 2.9%! Similar to knocking a few grand off the already great price.

This is a great deal, if the e90 wasn't about to get a face-lift, I'd be all about it...

From the BMWUSA website, offer only good through the end of July:
http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...iSedanAPR.aspx

Can you pre-order an '09 now in July?

I believe these rates are only good for the selected `08 models. Doesn't mean you couldn't try though...

you can not lock the rate for the 09 model. My dealership told me that the 0.9% will only apply to the cars that are in the inventory.

I think if you ordered an 08 and it is being delivered in July before the promotion ends, your dealer might be nice and resubmit the deal as if it was purchased that day and get you the 0.9%. But they don't have to as I understand it.

It would be strange for BMW to offer 0.9% on the 2009s - their goal is likely to clear out '08 inventory to get ready for the 09s, and dealers may be salivating at being able to get at least a few months of sales in at full MSRP for early adopters. . .

When did this promotion go into effect? Just bought my wife a 2008 328xi last Monday (7/14) - dealer said the best rate available at that time was 3.9%!

My dealer notified me late last week. It also depends on whether you qualify for the rate based on your credit history. If you have excellent credit and it was a car off the lot then they should have given you 0.9%.

It went into effect last Friday...if your wife already signed yesterday she should be able to resign @ 0.9% or tank them on their survey call & call BMW to complain as well

Notify the dealer like today ASAP & drive on down there. They probably just sent everything into accounting today/tomorrow. That is what I did...I signed @ 1.9% (owners loyalty) last Thursday then BMW announced 0.9% for everyone W.A.C. of course...so I naturally called the dealer first thing Saturday morning & my paperwork was sitting in the finance office. So I simply was refunded $975 off my C.O.D & payment remained the same ($699) @ the 0.9%.

We'll see what happens - we bought the car on 7/7, a couple days before the reduced rate - dealer indicated that they'd contact BMW Finance to see what they can do...

um no
That is the same as buying something in the store and wanting to bring it back and buy it for less. You can not be serious.

^ I'm sure he/she is, however, its not quite the same as asking to return something and purchase for less. He/She is talking re-finance, not re-purchase. You could call BMWFS and see if thats possible and what the fee's associated with doing that would cost. At one point I thought I might be in a financial pinch, I e-mailed BMWFS asking if they would be interested in re-financing my loan (not a lease) they responded with something to the effect of "yes, please give us a call."

I doubt they would offer you this promotional .9% rate, but it might not be much more if your really interested in switching to purchase...

Good luck!
