Any other options for canucks to get $599 stage 1?

To the other canadians on here tired of having bmwcanada take the much more exorbitant route on pricing of parts - can we not zip across the border to any USA dealer and have this installed on our n55 bimmers? Or even order from Tischer and have installed at the nearest USA dealer?

We have both versions on special here - $575 shipped for version 1, and $1199.00 + shipping/handling for version 2. We include the additional required parts (airduct kit, hardware, etc.) at no extra charge with our version 2 kits.
Great Deal Evan!!

Can both versions be installed on 07 335i w/ Sport package but NO additional oil Cooler??

Thanks

Wait a bit and shop around. Some dealers thought they could charge you whatever they wanted. I got a quote of $599 for the kit and $164 for labor from one. Another wanted twice, or over $1,400 total.

+1. If anyone can post the bulletin or link it, I think it would help a lot of people!

Go to BMW performance website and look up the kit. You will have two prices: 1) kit 2) kit install

I must be missing something. When I go to the site it gives me a price for the kit and then an asterix for installation which says price will be determined at time of install.

- click shop now
- select your car: year, series... And press go
- in parts select tuning and buy now the kit
- press buy it now and input your zip code
- this should give you price: around 724 installed and 599 for just the kit

I got the price of 779 by going to their dealer web site and then going to the bmw performance site. Once you have the part selected, it showed 779 installed price. I wonder if someone is playing games with you at that dealership?

Interesting. Thanks to you both. When I went on through the BMW USA website it didn't give me an installed price, even after I entered my zip. I did get it through that link though.

My final price was mid 700's after sales tax, so it looks like the dealer gave me a nice deal on the part ($479) and then pilfered me on the install to get back to the regular MSRP. Sleazy.

I think I'm going to follow up with the dealer and let them know that I think taking two hours to do this install (and at a higher labor rate than normal) is a fleece job. I would still really like to have that SIB people have been talking about in hand though.

Anyone?

i see this now, thanks. it's kind of weird though because first it shows the $599 price but when i put in my zip code it says uninstalled is $509.15 and installed is $829.15 not sure why the uninstalled price is less than the $599

the BMWUSA sited linked to my dealer, South Bay BMW, shows $599 and then $774 installed. I was there today and they wouldn't budge on their $599 price, despite their own 15% off coupon online.

It's really interesting to see the drastically different quotes and pricing everyone is getting. I'm surprised there isn't more consistency.

From my internet sales mgr at New Century in Alhambra, got a 10% discount on the part, $549 + tax. Labor is $232 (need to confirm the labor with the service dept).
Thanks...
