i also have a complaint about the iPhone BT quality (which the guy commented on when i phoned from the car) so i'm hoping for a software update also..

Did you get the courtesy car foc?!
I cancelled my booking last minute. Could'nt be bothered trapsing to work from the dealers.
Keep us updated on what they claimed to have done-it may be a case of 'lets get the car back in for warranty work as much as possible so we can make more from BMW'!.

They said they used a special type of grease but didn't elaborate to much on details. I'm a bit annouyed anyway as the car was meant to be in for body work at same time but they had no idea what I was talking about when I got there. So my first experience with BMW wasn't the greatest so far but I've gotta go back now anyway so well soon see.

i must say i have a great bmw dealer. they ALWAYS give me a courtesy car FOC for all services and any other work needed. They sort all the insurance - the only thing i have to do is swap keys... fantastic service

Bowker Preston have always waivered but on being there recently I noticed that if they do charge it is £15 per day. They say its for admin and insurance fees.

My dealer, Wood of Bournemouth , never charge me for a courtesy car and they always valet my car.
