Bmwhat coding gone wrong

I have been able to successfully code a few things with the app. I tried to code the blinkers to blink 5 times instead of 3 and now I get left and right front blinker malfunctions. When I use them they blink really fast. I tried to set them back to 3 seconds but I still get the warning and they still blink fast. Any ideas hiw to fix??

Use NCS Expert and code back to default.

You can reload a backup file from prior to the change on BMWhat.

You know how to do that? I can get to the back ups but when I select one and choose load it just takes me back a screen and doesn't do anything...

I used the bmwhat app to code about 50 cars with no errors that couldnt be fixed like this one with the app. It asks if you want to backup when you read the module, so it takes all of 5 mins to flash it back. Im curious if you changed the wrong thing, if you turned off the bulb check on the LCI's it does some odd things.

Moral of the story:

Don't fuck with the blinkers!

Could this be not related to coding? I had this happen once and it was the rear flasher starting to fail on one side. It was blinking fast and giving a light warning in the dash whenever I used the right flasher.
