BC Racing Coilovers

I searched, couldn't find anything on them, or any reviews. VS Motorsports had a group by long time ago. Anyone have them on E90? I read some review on bimmerforums for E39's Non M and M5's..and they say they're pretty good..?

I ran them on my E46 M3, great coilover... I installed them a week before a gumball style rally, they were very comfortable but very stable... I put about 2k miles on them during that. I went down dirt roads, mountain road climb(at a pretty good speed), did some very high speed driving with them(a sustained 145-16x for 15 minutes or so). More comfortable for daily driving than comparable H&R, Tein, and Bilstein kits... and not built like cheap ass Ksports or D2 coilovers...

This may be of some interest...

When I spoke to him last year they were on his car for a year and a half and he said they were still in great shape... I ended up selling my car in November and the car was driven from Boston to MD in all one stint... To my best knowledge they are still on the car. I loved them so much that I'll be installing em on my new A4 beater

I was reading up on these seems like some of the m3 guys like them.

From what I have read they are great for the price and the people have them really like them. They look like good coilovers for not much more than struts and springs.

I'm not a suspension guru, so I ask =/

But I heard these were easier to adjust dampening as they have extenders in the rear that comes out of the liner?..As for the height are they hard to adjust? (Taking off wheels etc)

On that I have no idea.

I have heard that if you change the height you may have to get the car aligned, so most people with coilovers just set their height one time to a height they like and that is where it stays.

Any time you change or adjust a suspension component it's good to get an alignment

The group buy I believe was back in 2009 (VS Motorsports was the vendor) I PMed the person about the coilovers and they said if we can get 15 buyers? if I'm correct, then they'll do another group buy.

If it was in 2009, how come no one has written one review. Also can anyone confirm if these coilovers can withstand the harsh winters (salt) in Canada...are these made of stainless steel?

There are not many reviews on coilovers, period..and I don't know how many purchased these coilovers; I'm in the same boat as you. I'm looking for someone that purchased them and have a good review. I may just have to call the shot and go ahead and try them out!

you guys are killing me, lol...these are BMW specific reviews... there are a lot of people on Bimmerforums running them and the response seems to be largely positive!!!

When I was searching I just googled BC coilover reviews and there was a bunch of reviews, I finally found the one on Bimmerforums

Read that already! lol. I was just trying to find someone with an E90/E92 that has these coilovers, but I might grab these none the less. I think I'm convinced enough.

one of the reviewers on that site said there is some kind of "doinngg" noise when he turns. Is this normal with coilovers.

you can contact them again, when vs started the group buy it did not seem like many were interested, I know that they have been getting a lot of message about it so if you email matt@vsmotorsports and ask him i think now you guys can get more then 15

I asked him before i started this thread. That what he told me if I can get 15 buyers they'll do group buy or for the group buy price atleast. I hear a lot of positive feedback from these. But I look everywhere for their specs on the coil overs themselves and can't find anything. How low can they go etc etc.
