Rear Wastegate rod turn direction

Read several threads on this (thanks Mr.5) to figure this out, but can't seem to get a strait answer.

When facing the front of the car, do I turn the rod Clockwise or Counterclockwise to tighten the wastegate rod? Thanks!

Tighten = shorten the rod. If the threads are right hand (common) then from your viewpoint you need to turn it CCW.
