How well does costco do for balancing tires?
I had order some tires to be shipped there but having an upgraded sport suspension the car is very picky about well balanced tires and alignment. Thinking about getting a refund for the tires now because they said they don't have a Road force balance machine. Thoughts?

Under normal driving situations your Costco balance, or any other good balance beyond a plain static bubble balance will be just fine. Make sure they remove all traces of any previous weights and tape before they balance the new ones.
If you're still concerned about Costco not having a Road Force balance machine, just have them mount the tires, maybe they'll give you a little back for not balancing them. Then drive straight to your favorite RF balancer to get it done. I can't see why you would cancel the entire tire order just because of the balance. |
