Wheel alignment issues

Got my new tyres fitted yesterday and after checking the alignment they told me it was way out on all 4 wheels so took the car to ATS Euromaster as my indy was too busy.

Spent over 1.5 hours doing it but in the end could only do tracking on the fronts. Camber for front and rears and tracking of rears couldn't be adjusted properly as I was told the bolts have seized up and if they push too hard trying to adjust them they might break

Problem is, rather than improve, it feels worse. The steering is leaning left as it's natural position and the car definitely pulls to the left more now. Don't have the printouts on me or will upload the numbers later

Not saying ATS are at fault here. Just wondering if anyone in a similar position had any advice or would suggest I take it to my indy for another go?

Thanks

I'd take it to my indy and ask him to unseize the relevant bolts then take it to a good wheel alignment place for a proper adjustment.

I use STS for a geo, you can sit in the waiting room & watch the values changing on a little screen as they adjust the toe, camber etc.
But like most places my local STS is staffed by youngsters now, maybes it's always been that way, but now I'm 45 maybes I just notice it more
After I changed my top mounts it took them 2 attempts to get the steering wheel to not be off centre whilst travelling in a straight line, apparently I had a seized track rod but they were polite & helpful & got the job done right in the end.

Unfortunately sometimes the adjusters do seize up, usually a liberal does of penatrating oil & or heat gets the job done, it depends on the guy doing the work. Although sometimes they are to badly seized & just need to be changed I guess.

Try taking it back & let them have another go

I'd rather not given how ATS price their alignments lol got a shock when I was there. Thankfully they only charged me for the front tracking in the end

Cheers for the advice guys, will get my indy to have a go as they're supposed to be good at it. Plus if it does go tits up I'll know it's in good hands to get sorted

Age is but a number Chappers ;-)

ATS (two branches) have informed me before that they can not do 4 wheel alignment, which is important for RWD. Took mine to a good BMW indy specialist who had the gear.

Lol they advertise 4 wheel alignment for £65 however as I found out, that's tracking only. It's £35 extra per wheel/axle to adjust camber and caster. Something they don't advertise but do tell you once the whole thing is underway.

Still, can't fault them. They didn't charge me the full price as mentioned
