Got a P2418 code - 2008 E90 335i - procede v3 rev1 - latest maps

Anyone know why this might've happened? I've reset codes a few times, kept coming back but it seems to have gone away after I started putting in 94 octane again and now that i have the new firmware/maps....

It did come back only once though and didn't come back again after that...i tried looking up the code and notices smthn about evaporator, no idea what/where that is....

When it happens, I get a check engine light but no power loss

P2418 EVAP Switching Valve Ctrl Circ /Open

You are correct about the OBD code number being related to emission control in some way.

Sorry, can't be of more help.

Make sure you gas cap is tight. If it is, I would remove the procede, and try to replicate the code without it. We don't intercept any of the Evap system.

Bad purge valve. It sits under the back of the intake manifold. Or it was left unplugged. Not related to Procede or any other form of tune.
