Why all the upper-case?
I have owned and run a used bmw dealership for over 10 yrs and have had many a reason to shout about the pit falls of internet addverts, its easy for a dealer to throw a load of cars on the net that dont exsist at prices that are unrealistic only to starve genuine sellers both dealers and the private sector a fair chance to sell a good product at a fair price. Now days people use the internet to gauge a price on wot they should pay for there next car before they part with any money.

I have made a suggestion to auto trader and the trading standards that when a new owner registered a car in there name the d.v.l.a can e.mail a notification to internet adverts such as auto trader piston heads etc for automatic removal from the net,as most cars are put on the internet useing the reg number it can be done. This would stop a large number of missleading adverts.

...for MD of a company you sure have bad spelling/punctuation

However it seems you are fighting the good fight against big motoring world so fair enough.

BigMotoringWasteOfTime

Another example. Had found 3 cars interested on BigMotoringWorld web-ste. Was difficult to get in touch with those guys by phone.. went over there... none of cars I am interested - all gone (as explained by trade-man just yesterday). Have few similar but priced about 20%!!! more than those looking interesting. Thus... left without buying anything. Today checking web-site and all those that are "gone" are still on web-site! The tactic of the bigmotoringw... is following they put non-existing (sold out months ago) cars nicely priced to get you there.. and then they show you sh... they want you to buy... this is how they get extension and renovation in last year. Good luck hunting on field full of cheaters...

Hmm. 1 post and Bmwthebest appears to have a very similar grasp of grammar to 4usedbmw, and has curiously just appeared at the right moment to support his argument.

Be careful with the whiter than white honest car dealer tale of woe - it may fall flat if it turns out you're prepared to adopt multiple forum ids (a form of deception) to support your argument. It could make you seem dishonest - which I think is your complaint against Big Motoring World.

Of course, Bmwthebest could be a totally unrelated poster.

Do any of you know how the motor trade works? If you want main dealer service you should go to a main dealer and buy your cars for 10 15 or 20% more. Get the service you think you deserve and leave the traders to deal with the rest. If you are prepared to put with and can see through the bullshit for an hour or so you may get a bargain.

Or as Big Motoring World would say "if you don't like it you can f@~* off and buy your car from someone else." I think the phrase is in their warranty book as well. Just in case your car goes wrong. Another one was "See that car your looking at thats mine is that. How much money have you got? I've got 10 grand in my pocket" Amazing! But long may it last. As long as companies like that exist professional sales people will always have a job.

I'd imagine if a moderator checks the submitting IP addresses of a number of these posters it might be quite revealing.

So, let's make this clear then -

I do not tolerate multiple accounts from the same person/company, masquerading as 'support'.

I will give the poster with the multiple accounts to choose which one they want to use - you can PM me with our decision. If I don't hear from you, I will permanently ban both of your accounts and any accounts you create in future.

The same rules that apply to Big Motoring World also apply to every other member on here. Take heed of this warning please.
