I think it's because I bought a new snowblower. Which I am fine with. I'll buy a new blower each year if it keeps the snow away...

Yeah you definitely contributed to the warming of the season with that purchase. Two of my coworkers bought brand new trucks and new snow blowers within the past few weeks so I've been crediting them for the weather, but will include you as well. One of the coworkers also bought snow mobiles to make double sure that there will be no snow this year.

So, go-kart racing has come to Wilmington. Anyone tried this track before? We usually go to F1 in Braintree but this is way closer https://www.k1speed.com/boston-location.html

Auto start questions:
I need an auto start for the E91 as it lives outside and I want it warm when I get in it in the winter. 1) I work in lawrence and every other shop says they install car alarms. Should I go with one of them(i'll go to a decent on not a hole in the wall) or should I just go to best buy and have it done? 2) I really want good distance so I can start it from my office building. It looks like I need to pay for a top end model to get the distance I want. Anyone have experience with the cheaper ones and the difference in distance? Like can I get away with a $150 remote start or do I need to buy this one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/idatasta...99242200050007 3) Will I lose a key to have an autostart installed? Like I know on some cars you have to put the key in a box and they wire it up as normally the car will not start without a chipped key inserted. If I lose a key it's fine I'll just go have one made, there is a place by my work. I just want to know so I can have the key made ahead of time. I'm leaning on just going to BB...but I don't want to spend $700 for a fucking auto start.

BestBuy F-ed one of my cars back in the day installing a damn simple radio so I never go to them for auto anything. Maybe I had a bad experience IDK but from what it looks like it is a bunch of <21 year old kids working there not exactly knowing what they are doing. I'd go to the small indie shops if it was me
I know a guy that did a nice auto start for my buddy's Merc but he is in braintree, would be a hike for you...wasn't even close to $700 |

I only ever trust my car electronics to my buddy in Everett. Parkway Sounds is the spot. I'm not big into referrals and shit because there's multiple people out there that are good at different things but Markie Savio @ Parkway has been the best since the 1990s. Car audio, remote starters, etc.

Best Buy won't do you BMW. I used to work for them part time in customer service ontop my daily job to pay off my loans. They will avoid european cars cause of the lack of support. You could go to Boston Audio in Quincy MA, great guys who warranty their service but thats a hike for you too.
The remote started that I wanted if I were to get it would be the viper phone app. Start, stop, and lock the car from anywhere in the world but requires a monthy subscription. |
