Disklok
Guys, is anyone using a Disklok on their steering wheel?
I'm wondering if they fit around the steering wheel okay when you have Paddle Shifts. |

I have one on my 335d.Its a size small and says that it fits steering wheels up to 39cm.
It's fitted to an Msport steering wheel and rotates nicely(shouldn't be a tight fit). It had never damaged or left any marks on the leather and doesn't foul anything. Hope that helps... |

I also have one on mine and it does fit okay with the paddle shifts.
It has left a slight mark on the front of the steering wheel at the top though. I've bought some pipe insulation just to give it some more protection. |

Remember that the disclock comes with a three stage locking mechanism. This allows you to give a bit more space around the steering wheel.Mine is on stage 2.
If you go too big,it defeats the whole purpose and can be easily removed with a bit of levering-up to you guys. I think Halfrauds let you try the different sizes before you buy(from somewhere else!) |

Tesco-direct are doing these for £52.48 (25% off), still quite expensive but cheaper than anyone else I think.
And you can collect them from your local Tesco, so no delivery fee. http://www.tesco.com/direct/disklok-...r/203-6469.prd |

Here's some pics of the pipe insulation (sorry for the iPhone quality)...
Was 90p from B&Q for about 1m. The disklok fits a lot tighter now and that's on the first setting. I ordered some padded foam strips which are coming tomorrow which I will be placing along the edges. |
