Big ugly dent on N52 BMW PE mid pipe
Hi fellow members,
Did your N52 BMW PE midpipe have 3 or 4 big ugly dent when you bought it new? Are those dent there for purpose? I am so curious!! |

Yes i believe they are for clearance and fitment... LOL i was worried when i unpacked mine and noticed the dents

I was thinking the same thing last time i looked under there. Im dropped a little on springs but i didnt remember hitting anything. I just assumed it was supposed to be like that

BMW engineers put them there for one reason or another. Whether it is back pressure, sound or some other super german reason. These guys think everything out.

I too was like "Uhhh wtf" when I saw it on mine. Lol
It's normal though. What really sucks is what happened to me and forum member [shicobico] < think that's how you spell it. During shipment, stress was being put on the tips and it's not a perfect circle one of them if you look closely. Ugh, every time I look I see it. |
