Tire stuck on rim help

Had a tire blow out on me and I don't know what to do to remove the sidewall that has separated from the tire, to replace the tire. What should I do! The tire shop tried to get it off

I would be very disappointed in that shop... Take it somewhere else.
I mean it's rubber, cut it off or something..

Apparently it's welded on due to the heat

Not all shops have the right equipment to remove a RFT. If those are RFT, you need to take it somewhere else that has the proper equipment, as already said.

Looks like FK453's maybe.

Usually they just put it on a machine and press down on it while it turns in order to break the bead.

Can try heating the rim with a plumbers torch and pushing down/prying around the bead being careful not to catch the tire on fire.

Cut if off?

Those tires look dangerously bald... sorry to say, but not surprised it blew. Very unsafe and lucky you or no one else wasn't hurt.

I don't see why you can't cut most of it off, and then use pliers and whatever else to "pull" the rest of it off....

IF a tire shop cant get that off, NEVER go back to them. THey obviously suck. Take a razor blade or sharp scissor and cut vertically. Then the rest will peel off. IF it gives you a problem apply some heat to the stuck rubber. I used to deal with this all time when i was in the shop.

If someone told my old boss they couldnt get that off he would have fired them on the spot!!
