Update navigation software?

Is there any update for navigation yet and how to update it? I got 2006 330I with iDrive.

1) You can buy updated Navigation DVDS from BMW/Your dealer

In addition to purchasing new DVDs, when I had my ipod adapter installed they updated the interface.

I think u can find it and download it in the forum. I download it once last year. Is an ISO file. U can try it...

I found it and downloaded and made a DVD. Its working fine but whats the difference between new one and the old version??? It seems same to me.

Dude seriously? ... they are map updates!

Every year the roads change and new businesses, addresses, etc. are added. Every year the navigation discs are updated to give you the best available information at the time they are compiled.

If you're looking for software ennhancements, there aren't any. There may be a few changes to the iDrive system but you can't just update it, the dealer will only do it if there is a problem. You're not missing any features or anything.

I have a 2006 330i and my Navigation system is acting strange. I turn the car on and the nav doesn't come on automatically like it used to. then when I turn it on manually the the system comes on for 2-5 minutes then the screen goes dim, freezes and the radio cuts off? has anyone else had this happen? I have read that due to a low battery the system flash could have gone bad.... I also saw that someone on here found an update on here and was able to download it and burn it.. can someone please direct me to this!! thanks in advance for any help!

So today I went to the dealer and found out I need a new ccc.. this is going to cost me $1200 installed!! sucks. but on the bright side i had leaky valve cover gasket that I thought I was going to have to pay $700 for and they covered it under the CPO warranty.
