Anyone installed an aftermarket DRL LED Strip on your C90?
Hey guys, I am tempting to install an aftermarket LED DRL on a 328i C90. Any suggestions where to get the +12V when engine runs?

What the hell is a "328i C90"? Do you mean E90?

Apologies, I mixed up with my Benz
I mean 2010 E90. And no, not trying to replace the AE. I have 12 (1W ea) LED strip (10" long) and planning to mount it along the front grill next to the Fog lamp. Perhaps make it look like Benz C series. |

This is what I mean to do. The LED strip shown is not what I want. I have another 10" long LED strip rated at 12W (much brighter). Just trying to give you an idea how it looks like. Might look sick to you but hey I like it. So I am kindly asking your opinion where I can possibly connect the 12VDC to simulate DRL. Car is under warranty and not willing to do some serious mods yet.

i'll keep my opinion to myself and just try to help a bit, if you change out your fog light bulb to an LED H8 (more for looks then use) then you'll reduce the power draw on your fog lights and can tap into those to power both the fogs and your led strip. just an idea

Gonna be keeping my judgement outta this thread, seems like you're getting enough shit for it already.
This might/should help though. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=388252

For some reason the non-OEM ones (which we never had for our models) don't look right. Remind of altezza's... go ahead, make fun of me for my clear reflectors.

It's a C90 because he is trying to make it look like a C-class Merc with LED's!
