must from be a 330i, not 330xi. I'm wanting to try it in my 325i as a SSK.

I don't think the throws would be any shorter than what you have, but I believe a 335 shifter would be. Also, I think you can buy just a short shift lever from the dealer if you want to give that a try - fairly cheap. Touch base with Evan or Jason at Tischer during the week to get their advice.

I've seen photos of 335 levers, and it is much longer below the pivot ball than mine, and would give more reduction in shift length and increase in effort than I want (I'm looking for 20-30 percent.) I haven't been able to find any photos or measurements on the 330, but it uses a different gearbox than mine, and there are SSKs for it that don't work on mine (I tried a B&M SSK for the 330 - way too short.) I believe it will be longer than mine, but less than a 335.

It's $63 from Tischer, but I figured if someone had a lever they didn't need, I could get one for less (since I don't know that it will work.) Are you saying I could try one from Tischer and if it didn't work, send it back?
