in SC even if you announce it and its in a place where its not suppose to be they'll more than likely say something. They may just tell you or "warn" you but like you said, each state is different.

As a CCW holder myself, I like the idea behind this as I am fully aware of the struggle one can experience when drawing a firearm from the hip while seated in a vehicle (especially with a seatbelt and whatever else in the way), but would not do it this way. Your mounting option points the muzzle to the side towards any passenger who is ever in your vehicle (or traffic passing by). We all know firearms don't just "go off," but it would still be advisable to mount it with the muzzle pointing downward. It would also serve a double purpose because mounting that way would also make the draw easier (your option forces you to draw from the side vs straight up). Nice choice in a carry weapon though, I love Sigs though I only have a Sig 556 carbine and no Sig pistols. My carry pieces are a S&W 1911 or Ruger LCR-357 depending on my dress

I just looked at the photo again and slapped myself upside the head, haha. In my own defense...I did just brew 5 gallons of beer the other day and had some in my system. So disregard my last post...nice job!

If you feel so threatened that you feel youwill need to pull a gun in a hurry in your car, maybe relocating is a better move than an in-car holster.
That being said, this installation seems well made. Not sure if very practical as you can't let the gun in the car (it stays visible, it is a thief magnet). Speaking of muzzle down, isn't it aimed at the driver's legs ? |

Saw this on a Cherokee forum but wondered if it was doable in a bmw. Glad it is.

TFF! We can certainly tell that you, sir, would NEVER go rambo on someone that cut you off.
This whole thread just cracks me up - I don't know who's funnier, the paranoid Yosemite Sams (“I’m Yosemite Sam … The meanest, toughest, rip-roarin-est hombre what ever packed a six shooter under the steering column of an E90!”) or the Tweety Birds running to tell Granny.

It's always funny to see people who don't carry (or don't even own guns) participate in a thread by people who do. Not sure what the point of that is, lol.

Any reason you're opposed to leaving it in your waist? I carry an m&p40c and don't find it uncomfortable, but maybe I should try a holster solution
