People who don't yield to the off-rampers

Nearly got into an accident today when some asshole sped up after seeing me coming off from the highway thinking that i am supposed to yield. i have seen so many of them now and get so pissed off. he was like constant speed with me or possibly even slower and as i was about to get off the ramp completely he fucking accelerated to get passed me and nearly hit me. at the end i was the one who had to brake because he didn't even considering to doing it. luckily there were no cars behind me
people who can't drive for shit

oh wow... i nearly got into an accident yesterday as well... not on the highway but a merging road. it was a two lane road with the middle one as a designated left turn one while the other one just continued to go straight... some lady (with a few kids--teens) goes into the left turn lane and suddenly tries to go back into the straight lane with me right alongside her... i brake hard and was like ??? no signal--no nothing... she looked at me pretty surprised and her daughter or whatever had the face of "OMFG NEARLY DIED"... the mom ended up speeding up infront--I guess she was like shitt i nearly got owned cause i was driving like a dumbasss. geez i was like omfg nearly side rashed me with her crap car... good thing she didnt pos.

I think we need you to draw a picture of what happened because it kinda sounds like you were the one causing the problem and I don't think that was the case.

yea ive never seen an offramp where the person getting off wasnt the one required to yield, so it was your fault, yea the guy was a pric for speeding up, but it was your job to yield to him

i pull out infront of those prics any way and then just floor it, it really funny when they are trying to get on your ass but cant

Hell, thats why our cars have some sort of grunt, so we can give it some gas and go! Downshift if you need to.

Yeah why would someone on the road have to yield for merging traffic? Its always the other way around.

hhahaha....I went to visit Dallas FW....and the roads are all fucking backwards!

Worst design I have ever seen on roads...with weird yielding, awkward Uturn lanes...WTF is wrong with the planners in that city.

Your drawing only supports my feelings of that place....retarded.

people who are on the local should yield to the ones that are coming off the highway.

If the intersection is truly set up the way you illustrated, then the other car would be required to yield. However, I have NEVER seen such a backwards way of merging traffic. Generally, traffic entering a roadway would have to yield to the people who are already on that roadway.

Based on the picture, the other driver was wrong. But for those of us that live outside of Texas, and not accustomed to such intersections, we would have probably done the same thing.
