Pass on the magnaflow. I don't think I've heard one that sounded classy. I think it'll ruin your nice car =(

He's not looking to get the entire MF system - just wants the muffler to do a custom setup - these run between $100-$200

lol @ saying magnaflow doesn't sound classy and then proceed to recommend muffler delete.

Didn't recommend, just stating that it's better then what it was before. If the OP is ready to spend the dough, might as well get something that everyone else recommends, which is not Magnaflow.

It depends on how loud you want your car to be. If you just want noise then go with muffler delete however if you want to keep the stock note but just deeper I would recommend going with magnaflow. I got it on my e92 and pretty happy with them

The 328i basically has no sound stock. Magnaflow sounds like the E90 330i did stock but a little louder and deeper. I think it kind of sounds a bit like the E46 ZHP.
Either one will work and they will sound the same. The core muffler is the same. It's just different piping sizes. If you know what exhaust tips you want to use, that could be the deciding factor as to choosing what outlet size.
