No they are perfect for e90 and e92 (30mm offset in rear)

no I mean because then I could trade you the OEM tires plus cash, but the 1er has 215/40 18 front and 245/35 18 rear so it wont work

Can you please quantify "good amount of tread"? How many miles? Got any close-ups of the wheels and/or tires?

If "good amount" of thread means 8/32 plus...

this is a steal as the PS2 tires alone would probably be around $1100 shipped from tirerack!!!

But if the PS3 tires thread has less than half or around half... well, its a different story. No matter how much superior PS3 tires are, with less than 50% thread, they perform just like most of other brands. (Generally speaking)
