"Rear brake lamp malfunction"

I just got this message on my dash today but my brake lights seem to be working fine. Any ideas why this message won't go away?

its a pretty sensative system, could be a bulb starting to go bad, or maybe theres another issue?

Mine is doing the same thing. Lamp works fine but I keep getting an error

This is a known problem. It is not just a bulb problem, but the actual plug.

There is a service bulletin out, and someone actually posted it, but for the life of me, I cannot find it. I've been trying to search for it for months now, but I remember someone posting it.
